When Fabrice de Suyrot planted the first vineyards here, he found some beautiful Mediterranean tortoises that were then brought to the Llevant Natural Park (where they are surely still roaming that neighbouring paradise). As a tribute to this protected species, he decided to name the first wine Sa Tortuga. Perhaps that is why it is a wine that deserves to be drunk slowly, to appreciate each of its nuances

TASTING NOTES
Pure cherry red with delicate violet tones. Fresh with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, with a spicy background. Good and intense fruit and mineral notes with a touch of ripe tannin. Very fine and complex. Medium, expressive and full-bodied.
TO THE EYES
Cherry red color and violet hues.
ON THE NOSE
Medium intensity with cherries, currants and floral aromas of violets. It has a spicy background of pink peppercorn with notes of cocoa and fresh minerals.
ON THE PALATE
Dry and juicy with a medium body and an elegant structure. The wild cherry flavours are well balanced with velvety and mature tannins. It’s complex and expressive with a finish of cool mineral notes.
